It’s important to give back. God has given us so much. When we give to others, we bless God and He blesses others through us.
Over the years we have come up with fun and creative ways to raise money for charity. A few summers ago we had a lemonade stand which was really fun. We made delicious homemade lemonade. And even though we didn’t raise hundreds of dollars – we did raise some money – and every penny counts. Last summer, our family had a pool party and we had an ice cream stand. All we did was put out a basket with a note that said, “Donations for Hunter’s Hope are welcome”. You wouldn’t believe how generous people were. When you give people an opportunity to give – they usually do.
So – pass it on! Pass on the hope and love God has given you! Pass on these blessings and GIVE! No amount is ever too small. And God loves a Cheerful Giver!

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. - 2 Corinthians 9:7
When our brother, Hunter got sick, our parents decided that they needed to do something to help children suffering from the terrible disease our brother had. Even though Hunter was full of joy, he suffered a lot while he was here. The Hunter’s Hope Foundation is very special to our entire family. We want to make sure that other children don’t have to go through what our brother went through.
Our Grandma, Jacque, runs the Hunter’s Hope Foundation, and she is an amazing woman – not just because she’s our grandma. Daddy and Mommy travel near and far to educate people about all that’s going on through the Foundation. It’s exciting to hear all the good news but it’s also very sad when new children get sick.

Compassion International is such a wonderful charity organization. Over the years we have sponsored many children through Compassion. Right now, we sponsor a little boy named John Paul and two little girls named Esther and Karla.
John Paul lives in the Philippines. Esther is from Ecuador and Karla lives in Kenya. Sponsoring these children is great for a lot of reasons. First of all, we get to write them letters and they write back to us. John Paul writes often, telling us everything that’s going on in his life and country. It’s exciting to learn about other cultures through the eyes and hearts of children just like us.
We hope to sponsor children through Compassion for many years to come. Please check out what God is doing in the lives of children through Compassion International and Pass It On!
